Tammy graduated from Quinnipiac College with a Bachelors of Health Science in 2000, and from Quinnipiac University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2002. She became certified as an athletic trainer in 2001. Recently, she has earned her certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Since graduation, Tammy spent four and a half years working in outpatient physical therapy. During this time, she attended multiple continuing education courses on all aspects of orthopedic rehabilitation and became certified in the Cyriax method. She went on to work in occupational medicine for three years where she fine-tuned her skills treating spine injuries, bringing patients from day one of injury to return to work status. She returned to her true love of outpatient orthopedics two years ago, and is excited to continue doing the same at Apple Rehab Sport & Spa. Should you have a history or recent injury of your spine, Tammy would be happy to provide you with a spinal assessment at Apple Rehab Sport & Spa.
